Kalyani Kanakapura Road Location

Where it is

Konanakunte, on the metro-served stretch of Kanakapura Road

This is the established part of the southern corridor, not the open land further out. Konanakunte, marketed as JP Nagar Extension: two working Green Line stations within a kilometre, Forum South Bengaluru a few minutes away, and the Turahalli green belt holding the western edge. Inside the Bengaluru search area, KNS District 30 helps buyers keep the map conversation grounded in actual routines instead of only distance claims.

The deck gives no address, no survey number and no map, so the position shown below is derived rather than disclosed. Checked against OpenStreetMap, four of the deck's own distance anchors agree on a point within 57 m of each other. That is a good fit, and it places the site roughly 600 m east of Kanakapura Road - close to it, but not fronting it.

The NICE Road figure is wrong, and it matters

The deck's location page ends with a line selling "privileged arterial access to Electronic City via NICE Road", and its distance table puts the NICE Road junction at 2.5 km.

It is not. The point where NICE Road crosses Kanakapura Road sits about 5.6 km south-west of any location consistent with the rest of the deck's own table - and no point on Kanakapura Road can be both 800 m from Konanakunte Cross metro and 2.5 km from that interchange. The two claims are mutually exclusive.

The practical effect is that the drive to the NICE Road ramp, and therefore the commute to Electronic City by road, is roughly twice as long as the deck implies. The metro proximity is the genuinely strong part of this location; the road-access claim is not.

Metro: read the line names carefully

The stations you would walk to - Konanakunte Cross and Yelachenahalli - are on the Green Line, which has been operating on this corridor for years and runs north through JP Nagar, Banashankari and Jayanagar into the city.

The deck's infrastructure page leads instead with the RV Road to Bommasandra corridor, which it calls the "Golden Line" and dates as "opening 2025". That is the Yellow Line; it opened in August 2025, and the deck's own later page names it correctly. It is a real improvement for the south of the city and gives an interchange at RV Road, but it runs down Hosur Road and does not serve Kanakapura Road. Do not read it as a second walkable line.

One more thing worth knowing about the deck's market claims: its headline statistics - 21% capital appreciation, roughly 20% share of city residential sales - are sourced to H2 2024 and Q2 2025 reports. They are more than a year old, and they describe Electronic City and Hosur Road rather than this stretch of Kanakapura Road.

Kalyani Kanakapura Road Location - Frequently Asked Questions

How close is the metro, really?

Close, and this part of the deck checks out. Konanakunte Cross is about 800 m and Yelachenahalli about 900 m, both on the Namma Metro Green Line, which is operational. Plotted against OpenStreetMap those two distances are mutually consistent and agree with the deck's Forum South Bengaluru and JP Nagar metro figures to within 57 m.

Is the deck's distance table reliable?

Four of its anchors are. One is not: it puts the NICE Road junction at 2.5 km, but the Kanakapura Road interchange with NICE Road is about 5.6 km from any point consistent with the rest of the table. That overstates NICE Road access by roughly a factor of two, and the deck leans on NICE Road as the route to Electronic City.

Which metro line serves the site?

The Green Line. The deck's infrastructure page leads with the Yellow Line from RV Road to Bommasandra, which opened in August 2025, but that line runs down Hosur Road and does not serve Kanakapura Road. It is a genuine city-wide improvement and an interchange option at RV Road; it is not the line you would walk to.

What is the exact address?

The deck does not give one - no address, no survey number and no map. The site position shown here is trilaterated from its distance table and is approximate. On that fit the site sits roughly 600 m east of Kanakapura Road rather than fronting it. Confirm the address at registration.

What is nearby?

Manipal Hospital Kanakapura Road is the nearest major hospital, at Konanakunte village on the Kanakapura Road stretch. Forum South Bengaluru is about 750 m. The deck also lists RMS International School at 290 m, Delhi Public School at 1.1 km, Metro Cash & Carry at 350 m, and Dayananda Sagar, IIM Bangalore and PES University between 3.3 and 7.5 km.

Is the corridor a good bet?

Kanakapura Road is one of Bengaluru's better-connected southern corridors, with an operational metro along its spine and Turahalli's green belt to the west. The deck's claim of 15-20% projected appreciation is a marketing projection with no source attached, and its headline market statistics are drawn from H2 2024 and Q2 2025 reports, so they are over a year old.
